To get to the plant room, one has to go thru a small storage room which has rows of shelves. Then, there’s another old door that can be locked with a skeleton key. That’s where the plant room is hidden. Carol has several house plants down there, too. They grow like crazy in the warm room which has two grow lights.  So, all Al has to do is go down to pick homegrown leaves, to dry them in the microwave. But no, he can’t keep it a secret.
